English literacy and language education empowers people to live freer, more successful lives.
Each week we minister to about 450 refugees, immigrants and Americans.
We teach them how to speak, read, write and understand English and American culture.
We help them to obtain their GED and to become American Citizens. How do we do this?We have 12 HOPE Programs in Tarrant and Dallas County. We support 150 volunteer teachers and workers in these programs, who are building authentic relationships and sharing the love of Christ in a practical way.We sponsor a Dallas/Fort Worth network of programs, LAMP, that gives our teachers and workers in-service training. We challenge our programs to constantly improve their teaching and ministry. We work to begin more programs, train more teachers and teach more students. Our trainers have trained 1000s of teachers who use their skills not only in our programs, but in other D/FW, state, national and international programs.
HOPE Literacy, Inc. Helps Other People Excel in life by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through English Language instruction: establishing, equipping, operating, supporting, and resourcing church and community literacy programs.
